History.
Every JULY division began the same way: someone saw a better way to serve people and refused to settle for the existing one. This is how a Vancouver real estate practice grew into JULY Company, and how that company came to build across Canada.
The First Foundations
A real estate practice built on trust
The JULY story begins with our founder, Han Lee, whose real estate career started in 2012. Over the years that followed, he brokered the sale of more than one hundred properties, building a practice recognized among the top producers in British Columbia and shaped by a simple priority: understand what clients are truly trying to achieve, then work beside them until it is real.
That client-first discipline, learned one transaction at a time, became the operating principle for everything the group would later build.
The Technology Years
Learning to build systems, not just sales
In 2015 the group turned entrepreneurial energy toward technology, conceiving a marketing platform that would take three years of patient engineering to perfect. Analysis systems were developed in 2016, machine learning and interaction technology were tested through 2017, and the finished service launched to the public in 2018, the same year the head office moved from Toronto to Vancouver.
The venture grew to serve business and professional clients across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Thailand, and Hong Kong, with service delivered in English, Chinese, Korean, and Thai. It taught the group two lessons that still govern how we build: quality is engineered through relentless testing, and an international client base is earned through service, not slogans.
The Group Takes Shape
One name, many disciplines
From its Vancouver headquarters, JULY grew into a family of companies spanning real estate, presales, commercial property, luxury homes, investments, yachts, resorts, media production, and marketing. Each division carries the same red mark and the same promise: sincere care, trust, environmental responsibility, and forward thinking.
The Building Chapter
JULY Development is born
JULY Development is the next chapter of that story: a national builder and development group that unites proven builders across Canada into one network. Our partner firms have delivered more than 10,000 homes, commercial buildings, and industrial projects, carrying over a century of combined experience, and today the division builds from eight offices between Vancouver and Quebec, supported by multiple prefabrication facilities and a national in-house warranty program.
The chapters change. The through-line does not: build right, build fast, and build for Canada.
